The Forum on Education Abroad’s Critical Incident Database

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In 2009-10 the Forum on Education Abroad sponsored a pilot study that gathered data on critical incidents affecting students health and safety in study abroad. This pilot also yielded valuable information about the instrument that was used. Since then the instrument has been completely overhauled to include mechanisms to capture Clery incidents and other critical information in a platform independent user-friendly manner. This session will review the history of this project, how it is being used, and what the current data tells us about what is occurring around the world.
