Anthony Retort is the risk services manager at the University of San Francisco, where he has been for just over 3 years now. He previously came from Marsh & McLennan, working in their Global Casualty department in San Francisco. He earned a B.A. in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. His responsibilities with USF include serving on the Crisis Management & Behavioral Intervention Team, Resilience Committee, and Health & Safety Committee. He is actively involved with training around student life and student groups, as well as the contracting process with faculty and staff. His recent focus at USF has been promoting a consistent approach to risk management within the various departments, with consideration for the best practices of higher education.
