Erica Healander is the manager of risk management and workers’ compensation at Eastern Michigan University (EMU). She is responsible for the university’s insurance and loss control programs. Erica also leads proactive risk assessments and develops and implements mitigation strategies specific to identified risks. She is currently Chair of the University Compliance Committee. Erica served 3 consecutive terms as the Chair of the Michigan Universities Self-Insurance Corporation’s (MUSIC) Claims and Loss Control Committee where she lead the corporation’s strategic alignment with current trends and emerging issues. Erica has a B.A. in Psychology and a M.S. in Human Resource Management and Organizational Development from EMU.
